The Mobile point of sale (mPOS) era has come! S.F. Express (Taiwan) Co. Ltd. brings our customers quick and convenient payment experience with newly introduced mPOS system. From June 16 to December 15, 2014, customers will have the chance to get the rewards for any successful transactions paid by credit cards thought the mPOS system.

Program Details:
First stage: 5% discount on freight charge
Period: June 16 to July 15, 2014
1. During the promotion period, customers can enjoy 5% discount on freight charge (excluding surcharges such as Fuel Surcharge) for any successful transactions paid by credit cards thought the mPOS system (Visa cards only).
2. Customer paid by credit cards thought the mPOS system will receive S.F. airplane mug lid for two successful transactions (applicable to all card types * )
Second stage: Monthly lucky draw of S.F. truck models
1. Period: July 16 to December 15, 2014
2. Customers are eligible to enroll in monthly lucky draw for any successful transactions paid by credit cards thought the mPOS system* (applicable to all card types * ).

Method of monthly lucky draw: Customers are eligible to enroll in monthly lucky draw for any successful transactions paid by credit cards thought the mPOS system. 10 lucky customers will be drawn out every month (October 7, November 7, December 5,2014, January 7 and February 6, 2015). There are 50 S.F. truck models in total for the winners.
2. Applicable to all card types: U Card, Visa, Master Card, JCB.

1. Q. What is the mobile point of sale (mPOS) service?
A. The mPOS service use a mobile phone or tablet, with an external card reader plugged in, to serve as the cooperative store credit card machine. The cooperative store simply inserts or swipes a credit card on the card reader to allow the card reader to read the transaction information, and then enters the transaction amount on the mobile phone or tablet. After the mobile acquiring system’s application (APP) initiates the transaction, the cardholder signs on the screen of the mobile device to complete the payment.
2. Q. What are the benefits for consumers using the mPOS service?
A. Consumers using the mobile point of sale service (mPOS) are entitled to the following benefits:
• Multiple payment choices: Card payment may be chosen in lieu of cash payment.
• Peace of mind: The cardholder can monitor the payment process, and the chance of unauthorized use of credit cards is reduced.
• Carbon reduction and better environmental protection: no printing of the signed slips is required.
3. Q. In addition to S.F. Express (Taiwan) Co. Ltd., what are the other merchants that are currently using this innovative mPOS service?
A. Merchants which collaborate with National Credit Card Center on the mPOS service include Fubon Insurance, Da Ai Technology and Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant Taiwan. Consumers can rest assured that the acquiring service that S.F. Express (Taiwan) Co. Ltd. used is provided by the largest and the most reputable acquiring organization - National Credit Card Center, which is the pilot organization approved by the competent authorities in using the mPOS service.
4. Q. What cards are accepted by the mPOS service?
A. Currently we accept U card, Visa, MasterCard and JCB.
5. Q. Is the cardholder's signature also required to confirm the transaction when the credit card payment is made through the mPOS service?
A. Yes. One of the features of the mPOS service is changing the traditional paper-form signed bill into an electronic form. The major rights and obligations of the cardholder or merchant still remain the same. The cardholder still needs to sign to confirm the consumption, but the difference is that in the past the cardholder signed on a paper bill, and now signs on the screen of a mobile device. After the cardholder signs his/her name, the merchant still needs to check whether the signature matches the signature on the back of the card.
6. Q. How to ensure the security of the mPOS service be protected?
A. The mobile point of sale service (mPOS), just as traditional payment modes, provides safe and reliable support systems to protect cardholders. Cardholders can monitor the transaction process, and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology is used for all account data; the equipment and applications used also meet the specifications of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). In the transaction process, the mobile device itself does not store any cardholder’s card number or transaction information, and signatures and authentication information provided by the cardholder at the time of the transaction will be encrypted and protected. Through high standards of safety, consumers can be assured when making payments.
7. Q. Is the transaction process of the mPOS service safe?
A. While the mPOS service transmits transaction data via internet, all the card numbers, data and signatures at the time of the transaction will be encrypted and protected. Besides, the application (APP) has a mechanism to prevent mobile device screenshots, and transaction data and signatures in the transaction process will not be susceptible to screenshots. Consumers therefore can be assured.
8. Q. Is there a limit on single transaction when the mPOS service is used?
A. Just as traditional POS systems, it depends on the consumer's credit limit while the mobile point of sale service (mPOS) does not impose single payment limit.
9. Q. Will merchants pass the mPOS service related costs to consumers?
A. No, the mPOS service only provides consumers an alternative payment method and reduces cash transactions.
10. Q. Can cardholders of foreign-issued credit cards use the mPOS service?
A. Yes, cardholders of foreign-issued credit cards can use mPOS service in Taiwan.
11. Q. How does the cardholder obtain the cardholder's copy of the electronic signature bill?
A. Cardholder can obtain the electronic signature bill sent from the system via SMS or e-mail, or using the QR code application (APP) on the cardholder’s smart phone to take a photo of the QR code for the trade and get the link for the electronic signature bill. After linking to the website, the last four digits of the card number and the Security Code must be entered in order to read the cardholder’s copy of the electronic signature bill.
12. Q. Will there also be a cardholder's copy of the electronic signature bill if the transaction is cancelled?
A. The cancelled electronic signature bill will be sent once again according to the bill delivery method the cardholder originally chose. However, if the cardholder had chosen to take a photo of the QR code, he/she needs to obtain the cancelled transaction electronic signature bill with the QR code.
13. Q. Can the cardholder's copy of the electronic signature bill be printed out if the credit card payment is made through the mPOS service?
A. The cardholder can connect to the specified URL of electronic signature bill and then print out the bill through a PC or laptop.
Note:
1. This program is limited to non-credit account customers and their successful transactions paid by credit cards thought the mPOS mobile payment system during the promotion period.
2. 5% Discount is applicable to freight charge only. Surcharges such as Fuel Surcharge are excluded from the discount.
3. This program is only applicable to customers in Taipei, New Taipei City and Keelung areas.(During the promotion of the activities, mPOS service may not be applied in all areas of those regions, the actual status of shipping shall prevail.)
4. The lucky draw will be held on the following calendar month. Following the lucky draw on 7th of each month, the winners list will be announced on the official website on the 27th of the month. Gifts will be delivered to winners before the end of the month.
5. S.F. Express (Taiwan) Co. Ltd. reserves the right for any changes on the offer and program details. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of S.F. Express (Taiwan) Co. Ltd.
6. Should there be any inevitable causes for the failure of carrying out this program, S.F. Express (Taiwan) Co. Ltd. is entitled at any time and without liability in any manner whatsoever to terminate the program, cancel or vary its benefits, vary, add to or delete any of these Terms and Conditions.
7. The offer in this program should not be used in conjunction with any other promotion activities.
8. Your personal data (including names, telephone numbers and e-mail) per your provision will only be used by our company for the purposes of database compiling, statistic analysis, delivery services, marketing promotions and other affiliate services.
