Dear Customers,
Scam Alerts
S.F. Express Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter referred to as "SF" or the "Company") recently noted that some unidentified persons (hereinafter referred to as "those persons") posed on the telephone as representatives from the Company and told customers that there were shipments detained by the PRC customs. Those persons would then direct the line to mainland China, allege to be the law enforcement officer, the customers are told that they were wanted on warrants for their involvement in a transnational economic crime and their bank accounts would be frozen. Those persons might send them fraudulent law enforcement documents and ask them to withdraw all the money from bank accounts for investigation, or their bank accounts would be frozen otherwise.
The Company reiterates that, when SF representatives contact customers in the process of package delivery, they would not ask customers for personal or shipment information on the phone. The Company does not use voicemail message to communicate with customers nor would it direct phone call to any local or foreign law enforcement agency.
SF would like to warn customers and members of the public to be vigilant and prudent in handing your personal information and possession. If you encounter a phone scam situation, stay calm. Don't fall for phone scam demanding personal information and payment to avoid any unnecessary lost. If you have been the victim of a phone scam, please report to the police for help.
